In the last few months my son’s fiancee, Rachel, was diagnosed with an allergy to gluten; resulting in a switch to a gluten-free (GF) diet. I have no prior experience in “gluten”. What gluten is. What foods gluten is in. All I knew was “Gluten-Free” products have recently popped up on grocery products in the past year and are almost double the price than the gluten version.
My first attempt at serving gluten-free food: Last Thanksgiving our family had a make-your-own-pizza bar. I bought a GF pizza mix for Rachel. The crust tasted SO bad, Rachel didn’t even want to eat it! In my opinion, from what I have tasted so far from products off the grocery store shelf – “Gluten Free is Gross!”
Ever since the dreaded “failed” pizza crust, I have been on the hunt for GF recipes. I started to notice GF recipes being shared at parties on APIMP. I put this round up together of GF recipes; thought I would share it with you! Gluten Free has never looked SO yummy!
